Reservations are made on a first come, first served basis. Reservations are highly recommended to avoid any disappointment. That said, drop-ins are welcome when there's availability. All class fees must be paid before attending class. Class packages can be purchased online or in person at the studio.

You may cancel your reservation online up to 2 hours before each class. If you do not cancel by the deadline or don't show up for the class, you will be charged for the class. All monthly unlimited class packages will lose one day for each occurrence. 10 Class Packages lose one visit for each occurrence. Coast Fitness reserves the right to cancel all classes 1 hour prior to class start time if less than 4 participants are signed up. Please check your email before attending class. Please note our schedule can change at any time. All passes are non-refundable and non-transferable.
The 10 Class Packages have an expiry of 12 months after activation. The monthly memberships expire 1, 2, or 3, 6 months after activation. The personal training passes expire 6 weeks after activation. Your pass is activated with the sign-up and/or attendance of your first class. Please be aware that once activated, the pass cannot be used for classes that appear earlier on the schedule. No pass extensions for packs of classes are given without a written medical note from your family doctor. Activated passes cannot be transferred.
If a student has made a reservation for a fitness class, but has not shown up within a couple minutes of class starting, his or her spot will be given away to a drop-in. For a yoga or spin class, spots will be given away just before class begins. Clients must arrive on time to participate in class.
All clients must fill out a waiver before taking their first class. Pregnant women must have a doctor’s note giving them permission to participate.
Coast Fitness collects personal information from you only with your knowledge and consent. We do not share your information with anyone.
One-on-one or small group personal training sessions allow you to build a relationship with your trainer that will help you to work on and achieve your specific goals. Whether sports specific, confidence-building, injury-related, or just personal preference, personal training at Coast Fitness is an opportunity to build and grow through consistent, client-specific training designed and supported by your trainer.
Your first workout is the beginning of an ongoing process where we work as a team to define your goals, interests, and desires. Your first session will be a workout, not a wipe-out. Fitness assessments are an optional motivational tool that we can use with you when you are ready. These assessments are not diagnostic, but rather serve only as a motivational tool. Diagnostic fitness testing should be done in a medical setting.
For your personal training session, please wear appropriate workout attire that is comfortable. A clean t-shirt, shorts, yoga pants, and sweats are perfect. Your shoes should be supportive and functional. Personal training, by its nature, creates an environment that is personal, close-up, and professionally intimate. Simply put, personal hygiene is a must for both of us.
